We’re excited to share that the industry-led EV Battery Recovery™ Program is now available across Canada to support your end-of-life Electric Vehicle (EV) battery management needs.

Following the successful implementation of North America’s first-of-its-kind EV Battery Recovery Program in Québec, the program has expanded and is now available across Canada. The program is designed to collect, transport, repurpose, remanufacture, or recycle eligible end-of-life EV batteries from participating manufacturers’ hybrid, plug-in hybrid, all-electric, and fuel cell vehicles that are not already managed by existing recovery programs, helping to ensure that no EV battery is left unmanaged.

The industry-led initiative, the EV Battery Recovery program proudly offers EV battery holders such as auto dismantlers, recyclers, auto shredders, independent vehicle garages or fleet operators, and independent dealers from coast to coast with a responsible end-of-life EV battery management solution.

If you have an eligible EV battery that is no longer of any potential value to your organization or group, the program will collect it and ensure responsible end-of-life management of the battery. Our team is here to assist you every step of the way.

Initiating a battery pick-up is easy. Simply select the appropriate vehicle manufacturer contact details and follow the instructions to submit a battery pick-up request. Once completed, a battery pick-up request will be submitted, ensuring your end-of-life vehicle battery is properly directed for reuse, repurposing or recycling.
